The peg-top silhouette is the shape of the apparel with fullness through the hips that tapers to hem resembling the shape of a 'peg'. A Zig-Zag presser foot is also known as the Standard presser foot or General sewing foot, or the All-Purpose Sewing foot is the sewing machine attachment used for a variety of sewing work including the straight stitch and the decorative zig-zag stitch.
The key feature of this presser foot is the wide central opening that facilitates the needle to move from side to side, for both types of stitches. Double Braid Stitch
The double braid stitch is also called as Gordian Knot because for making two loops for each stitch and is normally done perpendicularly across two rows of square grid. The braid stitch forms a decorative line of loose round knots and can also be worked horizontally.
Bring the needle up at 'a' from a thread loop around the needle, go down at 'b' and come up at 'c' tighten the thread around needle and create a second loop by placing the needle's point over the thread as you pull through.
Form next loop around the needle and continue the pattern till the end.

Zipper Foot
A zipper foot is a specialized presser foot designed for sewing machines to facilitate sewing closely to the zipper teeth. The zipper foot allows to stitch much closer to the zipper teeth compared to a standard presser foot for a neat and professional finish. Zipper foot can also be used to sew piping, trims etc. where it is necessary to sew close to a raised or bulky edge.
Types of Zipper Foot:
Standard Zipper Foot: The standard zipper foot is the most general type of zipper foot and is suitable for regular zippers where the zipper teeth are visible.
Invisible Zipper Foot: Invisible zipper foots are specially designed for insertion of invisible zippers.
Zipper foot can be used to sew different types of zippers and can be easily positioned it to the Right or Left side of the needle. When sewing with the zipper on the right side, attach the shank (the metal rod that holds the presser foot of the machine) to the left pin of zipper foot and when sewing with the zipper on the left side, attach the shank to the right pin of the zipper foot.
