Twisted Chain Stitch

The twisted chain stitch is a variation of chain stitch with crossed loop. Unlike chain stitch the twisted chain stitch is worked above the adjoining stitch to create a twisting effect.

Bring the needle up at 'a' and go down at 'b' then angle the needle at 'c' pass the working thread over and then under the needle to form a closed loop as you pull through. Continue the pattern till the end of the row and secure the stitch at the end.

Asymmetric Silhouette

Asymmetry refers to absence of balanced proportions between parts of a thing. That is when an imaginary line is drawn vertically in the middle of a garment, each side appears different. Examples in an women's dress include, diagonal hemline, drapes arranged more on one side, single side closing, single shoulder or different trimmings on each side of a dress etc.

Bishop Collar

Bishop Collar is a large, rounded collar extending almost to shoulder seam with squared front edges that extend downwards.
