Wig Cap

Wig Cap also called Weaving Cap or Wig Liners are worn before wearing a wig. They help to keep the wig in place and forms a barrier between the scalp and the wig. One can easily tuck in the hair and prevent it from sticking out under the wig.

The wig Cap is made of breathable stretch fabric usually a combination of Nylon (90%) and Spandex (10%). They are easy to apply, elastic in nature and size control makes one size fit most hair style and sizes.

To put on stretch the two open ends of the Wig Cap with two hands like a rubber band and pass it from your head on to the neck.

Then bring it up, align the front of the cap with your forehead's hairline and pull the cap backward over your head.

Tuck in any escaped stray hairs inside the cap and secure the cap all around with bobby pins. And finally wear the wig of your choice on it.

The Wig Cap can also be worn on bald head as it keeps the wig in place and prevents it from slipping around on your head. A Wig Cap will ensure that your scalp can breathe and doesn't become irritated by the direct contact of the wig.

Heavy Chain Stitch Or Braid Stitch

The Heavy Chain Stitch is created in the same manner as the chain stitch but creates a more compact and solid line of stitch that looks like a braid. It is a looped stitch worked from top to bottom and can be used as an outline stitch on any fabric in hand embroidery.

Start by taking a small upright anchoring stitch.

Come up at 'a' and then pass the needle underneath the anchoring stitch and then head down at the same hole you came up.

Then move down little ways come up at 'b' pass the needle under the anchor stitch again and then go back down in the same hole.

Come up at 'c' take the needle under the two previous loops of the established stitch and go back down in the same hole. Continue the pattern till the end.
