Drawstring neckline composes string or cord which is used to gather or shorten fabric and the ends can be tied together to hold the drawstring in place. The drawstring is loose when not in use and tightened as needed during use. Often seen in sweatshirts and tops with hoodies.
Backstitch creates an unbroken line of stitch and requires more thread and time to sew as one stitch is done at a time. It is done by taking a step backward and the moving forward hence the name backstitch. This stitch is useful when one wants to make the fabric reversible.

This is a neckline that extends upwards beyond the neck. The garment is worn by pulling it over the head. This style is generally seen in warm cloths such as coat, jacket, sweater, jumper, jerseys, fleece etc.
A proper Funnel neck style by its name as funnel shape (the extension widens as it extends from the base of the neck just like a funnel) is the extension of the actual garment and is not sewn as separate extension of the neckline.
A Turtleneck (polo neck) has a close-fitting collar that folds over and covers the neck.
The nylon tape is composed of two stripes, one with the looped and other with the tiny, hooked surface. When pressed together the surfaces grip together and bind temporarily until they are pulled apart.
They are used for securing things and the tapes can be cut to one's needs. The tape comes in sew-on, stick-on and iron-on forms. It can be used to replace zippers and buttons, in detachable trims, upholstery, pillow covers etc.
When sewing is not an option or it's hard to sew, a good quality fabric glue can be used and is just as effective as sewing.
Fabric glues form a clear permanent bond, and the fabric can be washed as norm.
